Pioneer Primary School has been designed to accommodate a maximum of 400 students in 12 classrooms. The project is phased, with six classrooms planned for Phase One.
After three years of risking closure because of operating out of sub-standard borrowed buildings, Pioneer Education is finally embarking on a major building project. The land is purchased and all necessary permits are in place.
The municipal water supply is unreliable, so Ishimwe has already invested in water treatment plant which draws water from the lake and is due to be completed before end of 2018.
